From the Start menu, select Programs orAll Programs, then Accessories, and thenWindows Explorer. Right-click the file or folder you want to encrypt, and thenclick Properties.

On the General tab, click Advanced. Check Encrypt contents to secure data. If you have chosen to encrypt a single file, you can alsoencrypt the folder that contains it. In the EncryptionWarning window, select Encrypt the file and the parentfolder. All files created in the encrypted folder will now beautomatically encrypted.
